Alien: Romulus, directed by Fede Álvarez, is the seventh installment in the Alien franchise, set between the events of “Alien” (1979) and “Aliens” (1986). The story follows Rain Carradine (Cailee Spaeny), an orphaned colonist on the mining planet LV-410, who dreams of escaping to the idyllic world of Yvaga III. Alongside her adoptive android brother, Andy (David Jonsson), and a group of young colonists—Tyler (Archie Renaux), his pregnant sister Kay (Isabela Merced), their cousin Bjorn (Spike Fearn), and pilot Navarro (Aileen Wu)—Rain embarks on a perilous mission to the abandoned Weyland-Yutani space station, Renaissance. Their goal is to retrieve cryostasis equipment necessary for their journey. However, upon arrival, they inadvertently unleash deadly Xenomorphs, leading to a desperate fight for survival.

As the group battles the relentless alien threat, tensions rise, and alliances are tested. The situation worsens when Kay gives birth to a human-Xenomorph hybrid, mutated by the experimental Z-01 fluid. This new creature kills Kay and disables Andy before Rain manages to eject it into LV-410’s planetary rings, ensuring its destruction. In the aftermath, Rain records an audio log detailing their harrowing experience. She and Andy
